What is Make.com?

Make.com is one of the leading and most well-known workflow automation and integration tools.

What can you use Make.com for?

Make.com allows you to integrate various tools in your tech stack together, and pass data between them. It also allows you to automate workflows, saving you and your team a lot of time and headaches.

This makes it possible for you to leverage various specialised tools and join them together to create an entire system.

Why is this important?

Just a few years ago, if you wanted to build a system to do things, you’d probably need to use one tool to do it all. Passing data between applications was difficult and expensive and required specialised development skills (I know, I’ve built custom solutions for this).

Tools like Make lower the barrier to entry. And the price tag.

How to sign up

Follow these steps to sign up to Make.

Click on our affiliate link to sign up for Make.

Complete the sign-up form.

Under hosting region, choose either EU or US. Generally, if you are located in an EU country, you’ll want to pick EU for GDPR reasons.

Make will then email you. You’ll need to click on the link to verify your account.

The email will look like this:

You will then be asked to sign in with the username and password you set earlier.

You will then be asked a series of onboarding questions. Answer these as best you can. But don’t worry too much about the answers, as it doesn’t affect the product.

And that’s it, you now have an account, and you can start to build scenarios.

Upgrade to paid

You can start building scenarios to integrate apps and automate workflows on the free plan. This will give you up to 1000 operations per month. At some point, you are likely to want to upgrade to a paid plan. To upgrade, click on Subscription under My Organisation and choose a plan. In most cases, you can start with the Core plan and then upgrade again if you need to.
